Kabiserya Restaurant

Kabiserya is a newly opened restaurant at Bonifacio High Street. It is from the same group that manages the popular resto/grill Dencio’s. They are trying to cater to the mid/high end diners, unfortunately, they were a disappointment. We wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt since they just opened less than a week ago. They probably were having their start up jitters. But for a fairly established name like Dencio’s, it was rather unexpected. Service and food were both questionable…

We might sound like we are whining but then here are a list of some of our comments:

1. We ordered camote tops salad and nilagang baka for starters. The salad never arrived and the soup was served last.

2. Our daing na bangus was not cooked properly. The other half was still quite frozen and red I had to send it back to the kitchen to be refried.

3. Our shrimps were served cold. I guess they forgot to serve it immediately.

4. The lechon kawali was pale and not crunchy. We also had to send this back to the kitchen.

5. The pansit canton… was ok but on the dry side. Pwede na…

6. We ordered 5 cups of rice. Only 3 cups were served. Rice shortage din ba dito???

Hallelujah they did not mess up the sisig! It was the only item we enjoyed properly.

The waiters were apologetic and gave us 2 free icecream sundaes. They also asked us to fill out their survey form. We sure did list down a lot of gripes… Im not sure if we will give them a 2nd chance but we sure do hope they took note of our long list of comments for future customers.
