A couple of weeks ago I posted a blog entry about a weekend trip to Tagaytay and on our way home we decided to explore a different route – via Silang, Cavite. We weren’t expecting to pass by Ilog Maria but suddenly there it was, a big green sign board “Ilog Maria – 70 meters” with an arrow pointing right.

The narrow road to Ilog Maria was not paved so it was a slow and bumpy ride which added some mystery to what lies ahead.

To our surprise, there were a number of other visitors who were also making their way through the rough terrain. I guess a lot of people take the trip to stock up on their products – real good quality hand made all natural products.

Biscotti previously posted an entry about it – you can read it here for the details.

The place was nice – fresh air and a bit exciting because you’ll never know if a stray bee will attack you. I’m pretty sure that it won’t happen, imagining it just adds to the experience. Ha ha ha.

A couple of bees getting ready to fly out. They have this cool glass enclosure box so you can see some bees hard at work.

You won’t notice it at first, you need to open it up.

Here’s a shot of the bee farm. I was having second thoughts on exploring that area on my own. He he he

Bees hard @ work!

Just a few meters away from the Ilog Maria store you can check out what seems to be a multi-purpose hall. Honeycomb design all over.

Believe it or not, this is the comfort room. Nice right?

Here’s just one side of their store. There were a lot of people so I just took a shot of one side.

Here’s Jhanki all happy and loaded with Ilog Maria products to last for at least a month. Hoarding!
