Hmmm Sun Easy PostPaid Line

I came across this article from Philstar.com – http://beta2.philstar.com/Article.aspx?ArticleId=413433&publicationSubCategoryId=73

Sun Cellular gives its subscribers a new reason to stay connected with its Easy Line 400 with Call & Text Unlimited.

For only P400 a month, a subscriber can call and text to his heart’s content without worrying about pre-set credit limits for Sun-to-Sun calls and text messages. Also get an Easy Reward of free P50 regular load for every early payment.

Ok, let’s disect this for a bit ‘coz I can’t get over this line — Easy Reward of free P50 regular load… “regular load”.  Interesting, considering that this was suppose to be a line.. a postpaid line.  So bakit may load?  Moving backwards in the article — “Sun-to-Sun” — AHA! So that’s why… you get to have the illusion of a “line” within the network.. so the load is for… tentenenen… connecting to other networks?  Think about it.

It probably has its pros and cons – I’m pretty sure that they thought long and hard before coming up with this offer.   Anyone here who went ahead and “subscribed” to this?

Are my assumptions correct?

this got me. i went ahead and subscribed (implusive me!) only to realize, this is semi postpaid/ semi prepaid because you’re limited to texting within sun lang. if you need to text to other networks, you need REGULAR LOAD which beats the purpose (of having a postpaid line) i’m thinking of cancelling the easy line account ASAP!
